PERCEPTION I have been waiting for this movie ever since I saw its promos before Diwali. I am Vijay fan, and like Kuruvi even! Vettaikaran is surely on my list of movies to be seen first day first show, and its on top of everything!
Arya 2 is a 2009 Telugu language film directed by Sukumar, and is a follow-up to the actor's and the director's previous successful film, Arya. Stylish star Allu Arjun plays the lead role, with Kajal Aggarwal and Shraddha Das playing the heroines. Kajal Agarwal is the female lead of the film. Sukumar, who directed the original is directing this movie too. Navdeep and Shraddha Das are doing supporting roles in this film. Music of the film is by Devi Sri Prasad. V Aditya Babu and Bhogavalli Prasad are producing the film on Aditya Arts banner. The film released on Friday and is forecasted to be a super hit due to allu arjun's superstar status. He is the no.1 dancer of Tollywood. The trailer seems hot and I am dying to watch the movie especially after some Hindi speaking person recommended me to watch the first part of the Teulgu movie. Lets see, when I get free to step into the PVR at MGF, Gurgaon.
Reflections Hmph! Another light hearted attempt at the struggle of actors in the B-town, this time though we have hottie Shahid donning the role of the Triumphant Loser. Atleast that's what I hv guessed after looking at the trailor. What makes this film attractive is the fact that we are gonna see Ken Ghosh and Shahid Kapoor pairing up again after Ishq Vishq and Fida. Ken Ghosh is known to give refreshing films with Shahid, films with a difference. But with similar movies busting themselves in the recent history of Bollywood, one can hardly expect the magic of Rabne Banadi Jodi or even Luck By Chance. Yea! Shahid looks great and the expect some more groovy dancing steps in this flick. The Movie is a MUSICAL, that's what bollywoodhungama.com has specified, and it ought to be one, remember its Ken Ghosh who has called the shots for this one.
PERCEPTION and Pre- release Verdict Lets just wait for those few Shahid crazy girls to watch the film, rest of us can wait for the PDVD or the torrent upload. And By the way, there's Genelia too playing the female lead! huh! Who cares? Another Passable clause!

A Great game indeed and greater was it made by Sree, who happens to hail from my Hometown in Cochin. And what makes me a greater fan of his is the fact that he's known as GOPU at home,,,thats my petname too... :P

Initially I hated this song and refused to listen to it. But who could skip the screen track at the movieplex? And I am very grateful to the people at the SRS Omaxe movie hall, coz if it was not for them, I could have never enjoyed the beauty and feel of the song!

Reflections The Maestro Ilayaraja is perhaps now my favourite musician! Off late, I have been listening to some of his brilliant works of yesteryears and think I might displace AR Rehman to no.2 in the list of my Favourite Musicians!
Wow! A Hindi version of his own retro chartbuster called THUMBI VAA from the Malayalam film OLANGAL that was released in 1982 (starring AMOL PALEKAR). My mother used to sing that song to make me go to sleep! Yea! I can remember that, and all that came back to me yesterday when I listened to this track for the first time!
Wow! what a rendering, its even better than the original with an added JAZZY flavour fervouring the Carnatic mood of the song. Its been sung by the maestro's daughter Bhavatharani. Great song! Touching and yea the word coming from my heart is - NOSTALGIC !
