Oh!....its this song that I hv been searching for.....and its been a while......actually co of this IPL thing....I haven't been able to sign up with the latest developments from film world...It's all cricket..u c.......
Heard this song on the radio.....a few days back..while I was driving my dad's car.......and I had been searching for this track since then...didn't know...to which film's soundtrack did it belong.....
Now...finally I hv got it....Hum TUm aur ghost.....is the movie....and the track...DEKHO RASTE MEI...is a very fast paced...happy mood.....love ballad....
Shankar Ehsan Loy..trio have pumped up some good energy as well as feeling to this awesome track...loved it;...at first sight...err....sound...;)

Finally....a team in IPL that I can call....my HOMETEAM

For the past 3 years...I have been cheering for Bangalore and Chennai in the Indian Premier League coz these two teams were something that were close to the place that I call home...KOCHI....But with the announcement of the two new teams that was done earlier today.....things have certainly changed....for the better.....

Mr. Lalit Modi who was announcing the two new teams...revealed the first team as PUNE...that was bought by SAHARA group...I was quite tainted after that first revelation...coz.... Ahmedabad and Pune were the top two in the bidding pipeline....with huge names from Bollywood backing 'em up...(even the opinion poll on my blog too say the same....)....and once Pune was out of the box...I knew it had to be Ahmedabad.....especially with Narendre Modi backing up....but somehow...deep in my heart....something said....keep watching....you are gonna shout off the roof of your house...after the second revelation.....
And I did....the moment...Modi uttered RENDEVOUS group....I got a feeling...it had to be Kochi.....and then it was.....although the breaking news blinking on the tickr below about the suspicious object found in the Bang-TVM Kingfisher flight hardly caught my attention.....

And then he announced it finally...KOCHI...I jumped off my bed....yelling in utter happiness and excitement....
So, finally...I have my hometeam in the IPL...the proper one....and that is KOCHI...
I hope they don't call it....Kochi Krackerz or Kochi Kokonutz...one of my college buddies suggested Kochi Kults...sounded cool...but I guess I'd rather follow Mr.Tharoor's tweets more closely than ever b4 (I never ever did that b4...;)...) to get the latest updates....from the Kults....errr...Kochi franchise....
The Pune team was bought for a whooping $370 million..that sums to be around Rs. 1700 crore...while the Kochi team was bought for $333.33 million....that is...1532 crore rupees....
Such a staggering...amount....especially coming from the shocking fact...that none of the Bollywood biggies who had attended the bidding....could masquerade from the fate of walking empty handed...(alas...:(...).......
The Rendevous SportsWorld Limited....was backed by 3 developers and Film Production house....I hope its Priyadarsan and Mohanlal......
So whoz gonna be the captain....Sreesanth.....or Abhishek Nayar...?????maybe someone from overseas....like POLLOCK...oh God...I'd love to see him take up that job....or maybe Brian Lara or Nathan Astle....
so...then that's the end of the beginning of it....waiting for the next IPL....hope the Kochi guyz have an awesome jersey to showcase.....coz m starving to flaunt the team's colors.....

Hmm...its a groovy track...from Shankar ehsaan loy.....peppy..disco number...with lyrics that seem out of a hymn collection.....hymns dedicated to the GODDESS OF LOVE AND LUST....Shankar's scintillating voice...along with Alyssa's cameos are indeed a pleasure to listen.....one of those tracks...that gives u a feeling that....it's night time again....

God! I had such a difficult time translating this one....and finally..I hv done it.....and this one's JUST FOR YOU ADRI.....coz u asked for it....

This is one of my favourite songs....kinda spooky at times.....but that's how Rajasthani music can get at times....it really has that DESERTIFICATION feel to it......This song....is the celebration of a bride's excitement after her marriage.....the song boasts of some typically unused lyrics....and melodies that were last heard in Rudaali.....lol!

GREAT SONG.....a good dance number....and KANGANA literally means BRACELET....but....metaphorically it has been used to denote the BRIDE.....

The Divine Light

After covering almost 1200 miles in train and another 20 odd miles on foot...up and down on a holy hill......and patiently following a swarm of devotees.....I got what I had come for.....for what....millions of faithful come...everyday....A 2 minute सुदर्शन (sudarshan - beautiful glimpse) of the Lord of Tirumalai....Shri Venkateswara........Tirupati Balaji.......that was the first time...I had seen his divine figure.....such beauty....such lustre.....a million suns would lose out on him....by a million times.....The deity adorned with Gold...and garlands of the most elegant flowers....and enlightening a few hundred holy lamps....capturing one's sense of sight.....
The scent of incense, flowers and other offerings.....captivating one's sense of smell......
The chants by the Brahmins......and a thousand devotees echoing GOVINDA GOVINDA....praising the Lord....while the bells toll......imprisoning one's sense of hearing......
The very feeling of being alive makes you feel grateful....for physically being there....thereby....embracing the sense of feeling(touch)....
and when finally I sing his name harmoniously......GOVINDA GOVINDA.....The fifth sense of speech....is blessed!
Thus....a moment when...all five senses of the soul are blessed......is what I experienced whole heartedly that day....Although it's impossible for me to transcend that unto you................yet here is something that is close.....................far close..................! I shot this at my house......
All I could say then was....Om Namo Venkateswaraaya....GOVINDA GOVINDA....

IPL 2011 - two new teams? Decision on March 21

 Am I excited or what?
Two new franchises for next year's edition of IPL......wow....and the race is on...running hard are  Pune, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Kanpur, Dharamsala, Vizag, Rajkot, Cuttack, Baroda, Kochi, Indore and Gwalior.....While Ahmedabad and Pune seem to be front runners...with strong backing up.... 
Ahmedabad seems to be a sure winner....since it is being sought after by Adani group and strongly backed by NARENDRA MODI...making it a part of some Golden Gujarat campaign....and besides we did see how much of support an event like ICL got in Ahmedabad two years ago....now this is IPL......am looking forward to see Ahmedabad in action..in the next IPL....
Close behind are Videocon....eying Pune.....along with Abhishek Bachchan...........
I really wished that Priyadarsan and Mohanlal along with the Muthoot group bought the Kochi franchise...but seems like they have deterred themselves from doing so...due to the new clauses set by the IPL governing council...which says :

1. The minimum bidding price is $225 million (Rs 1,042 crore) per franchisee, while it was $50 million (over Rs 230 crore) in 2008.

It must be noticed the costliest one of the previous eight teams is Mumbai Indians, bought by Mukesh Ambani for $111.9 million for 10 years.

2. Within a week after winning the bid, a bank guarantee for the entire amount for the 10-year contract needs to be submitted.

Earlier only 10 % of the entire amount had to be submitted as bank guarantee.

3. Potential bidders can participate from cities that have with stadia or are building them. These cities are Pune, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Kanpur, Dharamsala, Vizag, Rajkot, Cuttack, Baroda, Kochi, Indore and Gwalior.


As the media continued to shun the proceedings....The latest reports are as follows...according to CRICINFO -

11.10 am: Good morning and welcome to the Four Seasons hotel in Mumbai, where the IPL top brass have gathered to discuss, among other issues, the bids for the two new franchises. There are, as reported, around a dozen contenders for the two teams - which will join the league from 2011 - who are prepared to pay upwards of $225 million (the base price) for the franchise rights.

Videocon Industries' Venugopal Dhoot was among the first to arrive at the venue. Making a surprise presence were Bollywood actors Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor. The IPL already has strong ties with the film industry with actors Preity Zinta, Shah Rukh Khan, Juhi Chawla and Shilpa Shetty owning stakes in three franchises.

11.20 am: The IPL's governing council meeting began about 50 minutes ago, on the 33rd floor of the Worli hotel (which is also where Modi now lives, after his house was destroyed in a fire). The winning bids, and the cities where the new franchises will be based, are the main points on the agenda. Most of the reports leading up to today linked actor Abhishek Bachchan as the brand ambassador for Videocon Industries, which would bid for Pune. But Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are here instead (so is Saif's father, MAK Pataudi, but his cricketing credentials are rather more solid and he's officially associated with the IPL).

11.40 am: There isn't a single television crew from a news channel at the hotel, unusual for a such a high-profile event. But the stand-off between the National Broadcasters Association and the IPL seems to be continuing over the terms and conditions for covering the tournament. So this is probably the only place where you'll be getting this news.

11.50 am: Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has reappeared in the hotel lobby. He says the meeting (regarding the bids) hasn't begun yet. "First, they said 11 am, now it is 12pm," he said. His anxiety is only adding to the intrigue.

12.10 pm: The bidders' identities have not been made public but Cricinfo understands there are between eight and 12 investors who have met the various conditions and are prepared to start bidding at $225 million, with the bids expected to touch $300 million. We know which cities are in the fray, though: Pune, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Kanpur, Dharamsala, Vizag, Rajkot, Cuttack, Baroda, Kochi, Indore and Gwalior. Clickhere for more.

12.30 pm: The IPL's governing council has decided that under the terms of the tender under clause 11.4 "cancel the existing tender", the existing tender has been cancelled. A new tender will be put out on March 9. The submission deadline for the tender is 10 am on March 21 and it will be opened on that day in Chennai. All new conditions will be out on March 9 - net worth clause of $1billion removed, advance guarantee of $100 million clause has been removed, all existing tenders were never opened and returned to the bidders, minimum bid amount remains the same at $225 million.

Hmmm....a very low fare movie...not much expectations...I guess...not many of you had even heard of this movie before....well...this is another horror flick from the Vikram Bhatt camp....which is actually the launchpad for Aditya Narayan....yea yea...that same yound kido....who acted as Aamir Khan's son in akele hum akele tum...ya ya...ya...that boy...who kept jingling repetitive lines as the anchor person on Sa Re Ga ma Pa....2 years ago............
yes...the son of yesteryear's legend - UDIT NARAYAN................
Yo!....Aditya....the chocolaty boy next door....in his first ever bollywood film.....and that too...HORROR!...lol....k...no comments abt it.....
Although most of the music has been given by Chirantan Bhatt....Aditya and Najam Sheraz have composed one track each.....
Very above average music....dnt buy it....dnt even waste ur time in tracking seeds on ur torrent client.......u might be disappointed.....This is one of those albums...that will be remembered for going unnoticed....I hope the film doesn't face such fate coz the posters look promising....and the previous one 1920 was quite an experience.......(God! help the producers!)...........I only liked the last track...SHAAPIT HUA....its quite funny.......Najam Sheraz's track is ok too.....and so is Kabhi na Kabhi to milenge...Shreya's Ajnabee Hawayein is haunting....


Kabhi Na Kabhi to Milenge (Rock)
Hmmm....the opening track is the rock version of the track named Kabhi na kabhi to milenge...rendered by Aditya Narayan...an above average fare....u will listen to it a few times...before u r finally done with it....

Tera Bina Jiya nahi Jaaye
After an almost disappointing opening....you hear something that sounds very similar to the soundtrack of Awarapan....you are reminded of To Phir Aoo...once again....after 3 years.....nothing fresh....the track might be situational....but..has nothing VER SPECIAL to engage you in a trance.....another above average stuff by the Pakistani Pop icon.....

Ajnabee Hawayein
This one's quite enticing.....Shreya Ghoshal whirls her honey-pearl voice....to the tunes set by Chirantan Bhatt.....the track seems straight out of an 80s Ramsay Horror movie......I almost felt as if some CHUDAIL (she-Vampire....)....haunting..the night..in a white saree....with tears in her eyes....and a pair of long chiselled canines thirsty for blood....jokes apart...this track moves....is situational again.....and pretty good....

Chaahta dil tumko
AhA!....the first track that caught my attention.....and kept it there....till the song ended....starts off swiftly...a hip track.....pertaining to the modern tastes.....with a few gentle raps....though the Hindi part....remotely reminds you of CHURA KE DIL MERA at times and Kumar Sanu's TERA MERA PYAR at others .....but aditya Narayan has...done well....good one....perhaps...the one and only hit...frm this album....

Ah! A better one.....unlike the rock version...this one here..is a very simple...MELODY....you really want to listen to it again...good one....

Sounds like a direct lift from some Arabic track.....boring...!u can certainly avoid it...unless you like KAHO NA KAHO with an increased TEMPO.....this one depends on the taste and mood of the listener...

Shaapit Hua
Written, composed and sung by Aditya Narayan.......hmmm.....he has tried his best....to sound like a rockstar....but all I could do was......GIGGLE............The track kept reminding me of yesteryears, song.....VIKRAM VIKRAM VIKRAM.....VETAAL VETAAL VETAAL.....LOL......I think..it ws supposed to be scary...but...in turn...its d funniest....and I loved it.....
My Rating - 8.3/10....(m still giggling.....lol)


SO FINALLY....AN ABOVE AVERAGE ALBUM DESERVES SOME RESPECT........so here goes...
