REFLECTIONS Wow! That's how I begin my REFLECTIONS on almost every Rahman song! This one's no exception....it's a jazzy night time song....very peaceful & melodious alike! Sounds like Abbas Tyrewala hasn't really taken off from Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na.....The song's quite similar to the songs of Jaane Tu...Maybe it's the perfect use of Rashid Ali's silky voice... No..No I am not criticizing Rahman...this one's distinct from the Jaane tu songs..although they are on the same vessel. Cry Cry is a new twisted Angrezi Desi repentance song with the freshness of being jazzy. It's a nice one....

I'm sorry...it's just that ever since I have started listening to this track...I have been humming along....continuously.... Ahem...This is the hindi version of the song KAADHAL ANUKAL (Love Microbes) from the Mega Rajni movie- ENDHIRAN (ROBOT in Hindi). As you can already see...I am high...and no m not on drugs (lol..except for d painkillers I am taking for my injured limb :P )...it's the intoxicating nature of this song...that's given me this high! Listen to it....I even loved the video...Rajni looking out of his shoes! The 60 something demi-God looks a mere 30 in this one.....love the locales of the song.... AMAZING! So, finally India wakes up to the western philosophy of weaving blockbuster films out of successful Tv series. The first trial in Hindi is Khichdi, the hit sitcom from the 2000s finally makes its big screen debut on October 1st 2010. The trailor has been arranged quite hilariously, giving sneak peeks into the lighter and heartier moments of the film.
The film has almost all of the characters from the sitcom, although some of the characters might look different for they will be played by different actors.
The film focuses on Himanshu's wedding.
Produced by Fox Star pictures and directed by Aatish Kapadia has Satish Shah playing an important role too.

It's total bullshit what the media has resurged with, claiming that the CWG's official anthem is disappointing and off-theme! BULLSHIT BULLSHIT BULLSHIT! It's not like waka waka...you know why??? Coz it's better than that!
Its just that Rahman demanded 5.5 crore as renumeration for the song, that hasn't gone well with the 'Critics'. But, considering the fact that more amount in hundreds of crores have been going into the pockets of the OC, this amount seems too little and at least it's been dealt in the open, unlike the OC.
The track starts slowly....like an early morning sunrise...when people rise from their beds...and then after a minute or so....the track changes it's pace completely...it's fast and awe-inspiring throughout!
RAHMAN rocks....although not as good as Maa Tujhe Salaam.
Maybe they should have included more languages in the lyrics....so that each Indian could relate himself with the anthem!....
My Verdict---Listen to it...it's amazing!

Well, the genre is clear- Pure action and some are over the top, just like in Tamil flicks. Priyadarsan returns to the action genre after almost a decade and half.We last saw him making Gardish which starred Jackie Shroff. The funny thing is that despite making an action flick, the Priyan film doesn't star Akshay Kumar which is quite surprising for he had featured in almost all the recent slapstick idiotic comedies of Priyadarsan and when finally he has made this Action film....LO! There's no Akshay Kumar...instead there is his second favourite Akshaye Khanna.
Ajay Devgun has sizzled once again...the female lead played by Bipasha..Reema and the producer's daughter- Amita Pathak (who had made an invisible debut in Haal-e-dil with Adhyayan Suman).
The movie stars Paresh as well..maybe the corrupt cop...who knows?
It's based on the Honour killings that have taken place in the villages of North India (Haryana or Bihar...no idea)
Not expecting much from this movie....might be as thanda as Ramu's AAG.

It seems Endhiran bug has finally bitten cricketer Muttiah Muralitharan. Murali, who is a big fan of superstar Rajinikanth, has said that he is eagerly waiting for the release of the film.
Muralitharan, who recently retired from cricket after reaching 800 wickets milestone, is a Tamil movie buff. He says that he has seen Rajini's Sivaji more than 15 times. He hopes that Endhiran will be big hit and break all the previous records of Rajinikanth.
Endhiran is said to be releasing on September 24. The movie stars Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Bachchan in the lead roles. Oscar winner AR Rahman has composed the music, R. Rathnavelu has handled the camera and it is directed by S. Shankar.
